quotes of children

(The world is yours and also ours, but in the future is yours. You young people are dynamic and thriving, like the sun at 8:00 o'clock. Wish is on you.)

“If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.”
Albert Einstein

“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.”
Margaret Mead

Children begin by loving their parents; as they grow older they judge them; sometimes they forgive them.”
Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray

I love the quote you chose by Margaret Mead! Teaching children to make their own choices and forming their own opinions is the greatest gift adults can give children but it is not always easy to master this skill. Just like children through our experiences educators learn how to teach successfully.

  2. Hi Xia Li!

I loved all of your quotes! Each has a relevant meaning for child & how they development in their childhood. I especially love the quote by Oscar Wilde. To me is says that no matter how happy the child, no matter how positive the environment, children will evenrtually become their own person and this may lead to different persepctives from what they were taught by theri parents. The children may judge theri parents for theri decisions but in the end, they too will see the meaning of their ways. This only equals growth of a healthy child.

Thank you for sharing your posts & a glimpse into your personal life. I really ejoyed working with you!

    Well wishes!
